SHADOW OF THE GIANTS 50K & 20K

Early Bib Pick Up:
Friday, June 7th at Camp Green Meadows Outdoor School in Fish Camp, CA in the Cafeteria from 3-6pm.
Race Day Bib Pick:
From 0540-0645am in the Cafeteria at Camp Green Meadow Outdoor School

No pets/dogs are allowed on the Green Meadows Campus, with the exception of service animals.
Staying at Camp Green Meadows
-Do not come onto the campus prior to 1:15pm on Friday, June 7th
-Check in after 1:30pm in the Cafeteria.
-Bunks are first come first serve. No check ins after 8:00pm.
-Please bring your bedding; pillow sleeping bag/blankets
-Please respect others in this shared space.
-You are responsible for your personal belongings.
-Quiet time starts at 9pm.
-All trash needs to be removed before you leave.
-There are showers and restrooms available onsite.
-Be kind and patient with everyone and we'll all have a great time.
-Tent Camping is NOT allowed on the Green Meadow Campus
-Large or oversized vehicles like camping trailers or RV's are not to be parked on the Green Meadows campus, you may park on nearby Forest Service Roads
Pre Race Dinner at Green Meadows
If you purchased a ticket for our pre race dinner it will start around 5:45-6pm in the Cafeteria at Camp Green Meadows. It will include lasagna, salad, bread, and drinks.
No additional tickets will be sold; our cook is preparing the dinners based on those who preordered.
Parking
Do not block the roadway into or out of Green Meadows.
Do not park in front of or block any driveways of private residences you will be towed at your expense.
Once the parking lot in Green Meadows fills up you may park on the shoulder into the camp and also on the dirt road shoulder just before the entrance into Green Meadows, do not block the roadway.
Parking will be very tight, plan to arrive early, please be kind and courteous to others.
For those of you familiar with the race and course you could park off of Jackson Road near the final turn down onto the single track that leads into the Finish. It's a lovely half mile walk and you won't have any issues with parking there.
Changing Distances
You may drop down to the 20k at anytime up until race day. Those changes can be made at bib pickup or with the timing tent at the start/finish.
Course Cutoff
You have until 3pm to complete the course. 8 hours for the 50k, if you start early (at 0600) you will have 9hours.
Start Times

50k Early Start is at 0600. We will check you in at the start line and give you course info and send you off. Please expect to be self sufficient until aid station #2.
Early Starters are NOT eligible for Overall Awards.

20k-0715
Aid Stations
Roughly 5-7 miles apart. Aid Stations will have Spring Energy Gels, Gatorade, fruit, salty & sweet snacks, PB&J, pickles and other goodies along with basic first aid.

Awards
The 20k is a fun run there are no Age Group Awards.There will be overall awards for Top 3 M&F. 20k finishers will receive a finisher medal.
50k Overall awards for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd M&F. Overall Awards will Start shortly after the Top 3 M&F runners have finished. All finishers get a finisher medal.
50k Age Groups 1st-3rd M&F in 10yr Groups -19 &under, 20-29, 30-39, etc. Age Group Awards will start at roughly 1:30pm and continue as more runners finish.

Post Race:
There will be food for runners inside the Green Meadows Cafeteria, veggie & chicken noodle soup with rolls and some other snacks along with cold drinks.
